What being a Dragon means to Me:

I am a child, I am a girl, I am a sister, I am a woman, I am a mother, I am a grandmother, I am an auntie and I am a friend, BUT most of all I am a Dragon.

For me being a Dragon was challenging at first but very rewarding as time went on. I found the benefits to be so rewarding in my everyday life. I noticed when I was socializing I had so much to give in conversation about being a Dragon. I found it to be a new lease of life for me.

As a child I had a fear of water. I was unable to swim. Terrified I faced my fears. Some time ago I took kayaking lessons with Davis Horkan. This introduced me to the River Moy. I found the experience to be therapeutic. Jumping forward I venture out on the River Moy weekly and I even ventured to paddle on the Mediterranean in Spain with 40 other Dragons in February 2024. Being a Ballina Dragon paddling up and down the river is ecstatic to say the lease.
